Manteno, Illinois is located approximately 40 miles south of Chicago's loop. We reside in Kankakee County, Illinois and have approximately 7,000 residents. We take pride in the fact that Manteno is considered one of Kankakee County's fastest growing communities.

We have a combination of industrial as well as agricultural occupations in our town. Farmers Elevator Company of Manteno stands as the tallest site in town, with the ability to house 2 million bushels of corn or soybeans at any one time.

Manteno is home for Sears and K-Mart Distribution Centers, both of which contain 1.5 million square feet of warehouse area. We also have the Diversatech Industrial Park on the east side of town which contains many diversified industrial plants and warehousing complexes.

I-57 runs north and south along the west side of Manteno for easy access to Chicago or south to any number of shopping or attraction sites.
